Best Speakeasy & Hidden Bars Marbella 2026: 10 Ranked

Best Speakeasy & Hidden Bars in Marbella 2026: 10 Secret Spots You Need to Know Someone to Find

The speakeasy has arrived in Marbella. Not the 1920s prohibition kind with bathtub gin and a password through a door slot — but the modern kind, where the cocktails are €18, the entrance is deliberately impossible to find, the bartender remembers your name by your second visit, and the entire point is that most people do not know it exists. Because in a city where Puerto Banús is designed to be seen — the superyachts, the sports cars, the designer bags, the look-at-me energy — the speakeasy is the opposite. It is the exhale after the performance. The place where the people who actually live here go when they want a perfect cocktail, good conversation and the kind of atmosphere that cannot be bought with a table reservation. Marbella now has a genuine ecosystem of hidden bars, from the mythology-inspired NYX concealed behind a secret door at GAIA in Puente Romano, to the seafood bar that transforms into a champagne speakeasy after dark, to Spain’s first piano club created with The Macallan. This guide reveals 10 of them — with the caveat that revealing a speakeasy’s location somewhat defeats the purpose. See our restaurant guide for dinner before drinks. According to Andalusia’s tourism board, Marbella’s cocktail bar scene has doubled in size since 2022.

NYX | Club nocturno estilo speakeasy, Puente Romano Marbella

🚪 True Speakeasy: Find the Door

1. NYX Marbella — Hidden Inside GAIA, Puente Romano

Behind a secret door at GAIA restaurant. 90 seats. Greek goddess of the night. The real thing. NYX is the speakeasy that every serious cocktail list in Marbella now has to compete with. Hidden behind a discreet, unmarked door inside GAIA restaurant at Puente Romano, NYX draws its name and atmosphere from the Greek goddess of the night. The interior is dark, intimate, seductive — velvet textures, shadowy corners, ambient lighting, deep red and gold tones. Maximum capacity: approximately 90 guests. The bartenders craft bespoke cocktails and, crucially, remember your favourite by your second visit. DJs build the energy from lounge to late-night without ever crossing into club territory. On weekends, NYX offers a private dining experience with a select GAIA menu — dinner transitions seamlessly into drinks, music and the kind of evening you will remember.

🍸 The order: Ask the bartender to make you something based on your mood — the bespoke cocktails are the point. If you must order from the menu, anything with mezcal or Japanese whisky. The atmosphere peaks between 00:00-02:00.

💡 How to get in: Dine at GAIA first (the Greek-Mediterranean restaurant by Chef Izu Ani) and you will be invited to discover the hidden entrance. Alternatively, ask at the Puente Romano concierge. Friday and Saturday nights only for the full experience. Reservations strongly recommended — 90 seats fill fast.

2. The Fisherman’s Daughter — Forum, Golden Mile (Day: Seafood / Night: Speakeasy)

By day, a seafood-and-champagne bar. By night, the Golden Mile’s chicest speakeasy. The Fisherman’s Daughter at the Forum complex on the Golden Mile is one of Marbella’s most clever dual-identity venues. Afternoon: intimate seafood bar serving lobster rolls, raw oysters, tuna tartare and champagne in a space decorated with seashells and urban loft aesthetics. After dark (from approximately 22:00): the lights dim, the cocktail list comes out, the music changes, and the restaurant transforms into a speakeasy with a curated champagne selection, creative cocktails and an atmosphere that is equal parts Manhattan and Marbella.

💡 Insider tip: The champagne selection is curated personally by owner Natali (who is, genuinely, a fisherman’s daughter from New York). Dinner at 21:00, cocktails at 23:00, speakeasy mode by midnight. The Forum location means you can start at Florentine or Beast and end at Fisherman’s Daughter without crossing a street.

📍 Av. Bulevar Príncipe Alfonso de Hohenlohe 7, Forum, Golden Mile · 🍸 Champagne + cocktails · 🦞 Seafood by day, speakeasy by night · 🌙 Transforms after 22:00

3. Le Jade — Inside Nota Blu, Golden Mile (Spain’s First Piano Club)

The first piano club in Spain — created with The Macallan. Live piano, whisky, cocktails. Opened June 2025, Le Jade is something genuinely new on the Costa del Sol. Hidden inside the chic Nota Blu New Brasserie on the Golden Mile, Le Jade is an intimate piano club created in collaboration with The Macallan. Live piano performances meet expertly crafted cocktails and premium whisky experiences. The concept is imported from the world’s great piano bars — New York, Paris, London — but the execution is pure Marbella: elegant, warm, and surprisingly intimate. Thursday to Saturday nights.

💡 Insider tip: Book a table close to the piano. The Macallan flights are exceptional — the bartender guides you through tasting notes like a sommelier. This is the bar for people who find nightclubs exhausting and speakeasies pretentious — Le Jade is neither.
